I have a soul...

Unheeded unloved
reposing upon my clutched notions..
within ambit of nothingness
I try to hold some crimson
from rising sun...
I try to steal
 a slight odour
     from an evening breeze...

My self
  romancing upon that mystic
modest bewitching smile...
whisper...
I would...

My ambition or folly
yet I would wait
for your devoted love
O Michel Angelo
 you have to announce
for me-
  "yay....I have a soul"...

  3. Thanks a lot Bhargav for visiting my blog and liking the poem.:)

Actually when the thought of a stone came to my mind I thought of Lord Sriram whose auspicious foot touch freed Saint wife Ahalya from the curse His husband Saint Goutam.... (can follow-)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahalya Ahalya could be their in every stone waiting for auspicious foot touch of Sriram... to give her a life...

Creator is God's messenger, what I do feel... See How the supreme creator has devotedly created this wonderful world..! Are not the Artists, Writers, sculptors representing the Supreme creator to give life to a lifeless?? :)

  4. Dear Jingle, you are so kind and beautiful a person to encourage so often to all.....Love you.
I appreciate your commenting of "hungry words"... truly words are always hungry to present themselves completely before others... In fact every bit of this mundane world is hungry for "transformation"... for a better metamorphosis... why not a stone... it might also represent a living person who could await a Michel Angelo (the messenger of the ultimate creator) to understand the unique attribute and help in realising the true divine persona of the person or thing......

Jingle, don't you think....you are also a Michel Angelo to inspire others creativity..and helping them for a better metamorphosis...:)

  5. Isabel... thanks a lot for liking the poem as well as the photo. I too like your blog and literary endeavor a lot....

The photo beneath the poem was taken by me in a park near our home... The sculpture is typical Oriya(Indian) style of stone carving ... you can find a lot many here too......
